ANALYSIS TOOLS

This sheet provides three tools that enable you to further analyze your position:
What-if Calculator: The ideal tool to plan adjustment points and play through scenarios. See immediately how the passing of time, changes in price and in implied volatility affect your position. Just click on the buttons to vary date, price and volatility up or down.A useful tool to determine adjustment points based on the position greeks, or to get a quick answer to the often-asked question "How much does the stock have to go up for my option to double".

Position IV Calculator: Find out this useful number for option spreads. The same way one can calculate an implied volatility for a single option, one can calculate the IV for a whole position. This is not a simple arithmetic average of IVs. For example if you have a bull call spread, a bullish position where you sold a higher-priced call option against your long call, the Position IV tells you at what net implied volatility you bought your bullish exposure.
